The Haven is a homeless shelter on Nightingale Road in Hitchin with supports and accommodates up to 17 individuals.
The shelter has been in existence for more than 30 years. In 2014 the day to day management was taken over by the shelter in Stevenage.
The Haven provides so much more than a bed. We provide a wide array of support services including specialist counselling, substance misuse support, life skills training and an extensive health and well-being activity to help our residents re-enter sustainable independent living as soon as possible.
